TERMS AND CONDITIONS – HOSPITALITY LEADERS CLUB™ MEMBERSHIP

Update: 20.11.2025

These Terms and Conditions apply to all Memberships of Hospitality Leaders Club™, operated by Between Forks e.U., Vienna, Austria.
By joining the Club, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to all terms below.

1. Nature of the Membership

Hospitality Leaders Club™ is a private leadership community for senior hospitality professionals.
Membership grants access to:

• Exclusive events
• Leadership content
• Member-only pricing
• Private networking spaces
• Community conversations
• Curated professional opportunities

The Membership is not:

• A coaching programme
• Therapy or counselling
• A job placement service
• A legal, financial or consulting service
• A guarantee of access to every event

Membership provides opportunities, not entitlements.

2. Annual Membership Model (Mandatory)

Hospitality Leaders Club™ operates exclusively on a one-year commitment.

Members may choose:

• Annual Payment (paid in full upfront)

• Monthly Payment (flexible, but same annual commitment)

Monthly payment is not a monthly contract.
It is simply a payment plan for the full year.

3. Purpose of the Annual Commitment

The annual structure exists to protect:

• The privacy of all members
• The integrity of the community
• The confidentiality of the membership directory
• The quality of professional relationships
• The stability and continuity required in a senior leadership environment

Short-term memberships would allow individuals to:

• Enter briefly
• Extract contacts
• Access private profiles
• Benefit from the directory
• Leave without contributing

This is strictly prohibited.
For this reason, all Memberships require a 12-month minimum commitment.

4. No Refund Policy

To protect the community:

• No refunds
• No partial refunds
• No cancellations
• No pauses or freezes
• No extensions
• No credits for unused months
• No compensation for missed events

Membership is a full-year commitment.

However, in rare and serious personal circumstances, the organiser may review the case individually.
This is not a contractual right, but a humane exception offered at the organiser’s discretion.

5. Member Responsibilities

Members agree to:

• Behave professionally and respectfully
• Maintain confidentiality
• Act ethically and with integrity
• Avoid harassment or discriminatory behaviour
• Avoid aggressive or unsolicited sales approaches
• Contribute positively to the community
• Respect boundaries, space and privacy

Members who violate these expectations may be removed without refund.

6. Confidentiality and Conduct

Members must respect the privacy of:

• Conversations held within community spaces
• Other members’ personal or professional stories
• Sensitive business information
• Shared leadership experiences
• Internal content, reflections or materials

Strictly prohibited:

• Recording conversations
• Screenshots
• Photography of internal spaces
• Sharing internal content with non-members
• Mentioning member names without consent
• Publishing community discussions

Violation of confidentiality may result in immediate removal.

7. Protection of Member Data (GDPR-Compliant)

Between Forks e.U. applies the highest standards of data protection according to Austrian law and EU regulations (GDPR).

Member data is:

• Stored securely
• Treated confidentially
• Never shared with third parties
• Never sold, rented or exchanged
• Used solely for operational purposes within the Club

Members have GDPR rights, including:

• Access to their data
• Correction
• Deletion under lawful conditions
• Restriction of processing
• Portability

8. Protection from Data Misuse by Other Members

To protect all members, it is strictly prohibited to:

• Harvest or store contact details
• Add members to mailing lists without consent
• Use the directory for unsolicited sales
• Transfer member information to third parties
• Create external databases
• Export, copy or screenshot the directory
• Contact members in ways that violate professional boundaries
• Use member data for recruitment, sales funnels or competing communities

Any misuse results in immediate membership termination without refund and may trigger legal consequences under GDPR.

9. Directory Confidentiality

The Membership Directory is:

• A private asset
• Reserved exclusively for community use
• Intended for genuine professional connection

It may not be duplicated, exported, screenshotted, or shared.

Any extraction of directory data—manual, automated or via screenshot—is considered a serious breach.

10. Benefits and Access

Membership benefits may include:

• Member-only pricing for certain events
• Priority access to selected experiences
• Access to private communities
• Invitations to exclusive gatherings
• Curated opportunities within the industry

Benefits may evolve or change at any time.
Event participation may require additional fees and is subject to capacity limitations.

11. External Groups (WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, etc.)

Members may create their own informal communication groups on platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack or others.

Hospitality Leaders Club™ and Between Forks e.U.:

• Do not manage these groups
• Do not monitor content
• Are not responsible for behaviour within them
• Accept no liability for what occurs in external communication channels

Only official channels created and managed by Hospitality Leaders Club™ fall under the organiser’s responsibility.

12. Behaviour in Community Spaces

Members agree to:

• Engaged, respectful communication
• Zero harassment or bullying
• No aggressive sales or repeated pitching
• No personal attacks
• No manipulation, pressure or dominance
• Respecting other members’ boundaries
• Respecting the energy and intention of each space

The organiser may remove a member without refund if behaviour undermines the community.

13. No Guarantee of Results

Membership provides opportunities, not outcomes.

The organiser cannot guarantee:

• Business growth
• Increased revenue
• Career progression
• Partnerships
• Network success
• Event availability

Members are fully responsible for their own decisions and actions.

14. Membership Suspension or Termination

The organiser may suspend or terminate a membership immediately if the member:

• Violates confidentiality
• Misuses member data
• Behaves abusively
• Attempts to manipulate or extract value
• Harms the community culture
• Uses the Club for aggressive sales or recruitment
• Violates GDPR regulations
• Attempts to create competing communities using member data

Suspension or termination is final and does not entitle the member to a refund.

15. Changes to Membership Benefits or Structure

Hospitality Leaders Club™ may modify:

• Benefits
• Features
• Event calendar
• Community structure

Such changes do not entitle members to refunds or compensation.

16. Liability

Between Forks e.U. is not responsible for:

• Business decisions made by members
• Emotional responses during events
• Lost opportunities
• Technical issues accessing content
• Cancellation or modification of events
• Conversations held between members

Liability is limited to the membership fee.

17. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from Membership are governed by Austrian law.
Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of Vienna, Austria.

18. No Sales, No Pitching, No Lead Generation

The Hospitality Leaders Club™ is a curated professional community.
Members may speak about their work naturally, but must not use the Club for sales, lead generation or promotional activity.

Prohibited behaviours include:

• Selling or promoting products or services
• Pitching offers or business opportunities
• Adding members to newsletters or mailing lists without consent
• Extracting or copying contact details for commercial purposes
• Sending unsolicited messages to promote services or events
• Distributing promotional materials within the community
• Using the Membership Directory for recruiting, sales funnels or industry scouting
• Creating external groups or initiatives aimed at selling to members
• Any action intended to convert members into clients without their request

Any misuse of the community or the directory for commercial gain may result in:

• Immediate termination of membership
• Permanent exclusion from the Club
• No refund or compensation
• Possible legal action under GDPR if data was misused

The Club exists to promote authentic leadership connection, not commercial solicitation.
