Nature of the Event<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>The Masquerade Talent Summit\u2122 is a two day hospitality event combining:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Career discovery<br>\u2022 Speed interviews<br>\u2022 Employer branding<br>\u2022 Leadership inspiration<br>\u2022 Networking spaces<br>\u2022 Stands and activations<br>\u2022 Experiential programming<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This event is not:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 A guarantee of employment<br>\u2022 A legal recruitment service<br>\u2022 A formal assessment centre<br>\u2022 A consultancy engagement<br>\u2022 A training programme<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates choose where to apply. Employers choose whom to interview.<br>The organiser has no involvement in hiring decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Event Access<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Access categories include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Attendees<br>\u2022 Candidates<br>\u2022 Employers and HR teams<br>\u2022 Stand holders<br>\u2022 Sponsors and partners<br>\u2022 Speakers and facilitators<br>\u2022 Accredited media only<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The organiser may refuse entry to maintain safety, integrity and atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Registration and Payment<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 All ticketed entries require full payment at booking<br>\u2022 Payments are processed securely via Stripe or Eventbrite<br>\u2022 Stands and employer packages require full payment prior to participation<br>\u2022 Confirmation emails serve as proof of registration<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Registrations are confirmed only once payment is received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. No Refund Policy<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>All sales are final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 No refunds<br>\u2022 No partial refunds<br>\u2022 No credits for unused tickets<br>\u2022 No refunds for illness, travel disruptions or personal circumstances<br>\u2022 No refunds for late arrivals or missed interviews<br>\u2022 No refunds for employer hiring outcomes<br>\u2022 No refunds for changes in programme or speakers<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the event is cancelled entirely, participants may choose between:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 A full refund<br>\u2022 A credit for the next edition<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. Event Changes<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>The organiser may:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Change the venue within the same city<br>\u2022 Adjust schedules or timings<br>\u2022 Change facilitators or speakers<br>\u2022 Modify interview slots<br>\u2022 Reassign stand locations<br>\u2022 Adjust the programme<br>\u2022 Reschedule the event<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If rescheduled to a different month, refunds will be offered upon request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minor changes do not entitle participants to refunds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6. Punctuality<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a professional event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Speed interview slots must be attended on time<br>\u2022 Late arrivals may lose their interview allocation<br>\u2022 Employers must respect their scheduled interview windows<br>\u2022 Candidates who miss interviews will not be rescheduled<br>\u2022 Late entry may be restricted during key programme moments<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>7. Behaviour and Professional Conduct<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants agree to maintain:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Respect<br>\u2022 Professionalism<br>\u2022 Courtesy<br>\u2022 A safe and inclusive atmosphere<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prohibited behaviours include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Harassment<br>\u2022 Discrimination<br>\u2022 Intimidation<br>\u2022 Aggressive behaviour<br>\u2022 Inappropriate language<br>\u2022 Bullying<br>\u2022 Drunkenness<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The organiser may remove any participant at any time.<br>No refunds will be issued in such cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>8. No Sales and No Pitching Policy<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>The Masquerade Talent Summit\u2122 is not a commercial marketplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants must not:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Sell or promote products or services<br>\u2022 Pitch business offers<br>\u2022 Collect leads or contact details for commercial use<br>\u2022 Add attendees to mailing lists without consent<br>\u2022 Distribute brochures or promotional materials<br>\u2022 Recruit for external communities or programmes<br>\u2022 Offer consultations or paid services<br>\u2022 Engage in any behaviour that resembles commercial solicitation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Employers may promote vacancies and employer brand.<br>Candidates may present themselves professionally.<br>No other commercial activity is permitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Violations may result in immediate removal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>9. Confidentiality in Interviews and Conversations<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>All speed interviews are private.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants must not:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Record interviews<br>\u2022 Screenshot or film conversations<br>\u2022 Share confidential information heard during the event<br>\u2022 Store or distribute CVs without GDPR compliance<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Employers must protect candidate data.<br>Candidates must respect interviewer and candidate privacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>10. Candidate Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates agree to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Provide truthful information<br>\u2022 Submit genuine CVs<br>\u2022 Attend interviews punctually<br>\u2022 Behave professionally at all times<br>\u2022 Follow the organiser\u2019s instructions<br>\u2022 Respect other candidates<br>\u2022 Not pressure or harass employers<br>\u2022 Not block interview areas<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates acknowledge:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 There is no guarantee of employment<br>\u2022 Employers choose their own selection criteria<br>\u2022 The organiser is not responsible for outcomes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>11. Employer and Stand Holder Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Employers and stand holders must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Use their allocated space responsibly<br>\u2022 Follow venue and safety rules<br>\u2022 Ensure all materials are safe and compliant<br>\u2022 Treat candidates with respect and professionalism<br>\u2022 Avoid discriminatory practices<br>\u2022 Not record candidates without permission<br>\u2022 Keep CVs secure and GDPR compliant<br>\u2022 Leave stands clean and undamaged<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Any damage caused must be compensated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>12. Sponsor Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Sponsors must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Deliver required materials on time<br>\u2022 Use branding only as permitted<br>\u2022 Not claim endorsement beyond agreed scope<br>\u2022 Follow venue safety and event rules<br>\u2022 Maintain ethical and non discriminatory messaging<br>\u2022 Comply with GDPR regarding any data they receive<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sponsorship fees are non refundable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>13. Photography, Video and Image Rights<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>The organiser may capture:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Photos<br>\u2022 Videos<br>\u2022 Audio<br>\u2022 Event footage<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By attending the event, participants grant permission for their image to appear in marketing materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If someone prefers not to appear in photos, they must inform the organiser upon arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants may not:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Photograph individuals without consent<br>\u2022 Film interviews<br>\u2022 Record private conversations<br>\u2022 Screen record event content<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>14. Intellectual Property and Protection of Concept<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2b50 <strong>Definitive, legally strong clause<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The entire concept, methodology, structure and written materials of the Masquerade Talent Summit\u2122 are protected under Austrian and European copyright law by virtue of their creation, even if no formal trademark registration has yet been completed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Event name and derivatives<br>\u2022 Format, structure and flow<br>\u2022 Interview design and methodology<br>\u2022 Leadership and career experience structure<br>\u2022 Timelines, processes and event choreography<br>\u2022 Visual identity and communication tone<br>\u2022 Written content, descriptions and materials<br>\u2022 Any recognisable part of the event<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reproduction, imitation, adaptation or creation of derivative events is strictly prohibited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>15. Non Circumvention and Concept Protection<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants, recipients of the proposal, venues, employers, partners and collaborators agree not to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Reproduce the event independently<br>\u2022 Create a similar event using the same structure<br>\u2022 Adapt the format into their own programmes<br>\u2022 Share the concept with third parties<br>\u2022 Reverse engineer the content or methodology<br>\u2022 Present the concept as their own<br>\u2022 Engage subcontractors to replicate the idea<br>\u2022 Host comparable versions without written permission<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Any breach may lead to legal action under Austrian and EU law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>16. Venue Protection Clause<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Venues hosting or reviewing the proposal may not:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Replicate the event<br>\u2022 Produce similar events using the structure<br>\u2022 Recreate the format under another name<br>\u2022 Reproduce the ideas in their own programming<br>\u2022 Share the concept with partners, suppliers or other venues<br>\u2022 Implement any derivative version of the experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>17. Confidentiality of Shared Materials<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>All proposals, documents, schedules, descriptions and materials shared by Between Forks e.U. are confidential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They may not be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Forwarded<br>\u2022 Copied<br>\u2022 Screenshot<br>\u2022 Reproduced<br>\u2022 Translated<br>\u2022 Shared with third parties<br>\u2022 Used in pitch decks<br>\u2022 Incorporated into external programmes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>18. Data Protection (GDPR)<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>The organiser processes personal data according to Austrian and EU GDPR law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Store data securely<br>\u2022 Never sell or trade data<br>\u2022 Use data only for event administration<br>\u2022 Retain data only for legally required periods<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Employers must handle CVs in full GDPR compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>19. Food, Beverage and Alcohol Policy<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>If alcohol is served:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Participants must consume responsibly<br>\u2022 Drunken or disruptive behaviour is not tolerated<br>\u2022 Over intoxicated attendees may be removed<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Food allergies must be communicated in advance.<br>The organiser is not liable for cross contamination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>20. External Groups (WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack)<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants may create external groups independently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The organiser:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Does not control these groups<br>\u2022 Is not responsible for conflicts<br>\u2022 Is not liable for content<br>\u2022 Does not moderate them<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only official channels created by Hospitality Leaders Club\u2122 fall under the organiser\u2019s responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>21. Personal Belongings and Liability<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>The organiser is not liable for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Lost or stolen items<br>\u2022 Accidents or injuries<br>\u2022 Damage to personal items<br>\u2022 Travel delays<br>\u2022 Emotional reactions to conversations<br>\u2022 Hiring decisions made by employers<br>\u2022 Technical issues<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attendees participate at their own risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>22. Safety and Security<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants must comply with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Venue rules<br>\u2022 Safety instructions<br>\u2022 Evacuation procedures<br>\u2022 Security staff directions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Failure to comply may result in removal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>23. Changes to These Terms<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>The organiser may update these Terms and Conditions at any time.<br>Continued participation constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>24. Governing Law<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>These Terms are governed by Austrian law.<br>Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Vienna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>25.
